TUNA ON ENGLISH MUFFINS
& CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP

Make Tuna as usual. Toast English Muffins. Butter and Spread on Tuna (generously). Add Lettuce.
Manning's Cafeteria used to serve these. I used to look forward to stopping in on my way home from shopping. They were on the corner of 4th and Market and just happened to be on the way to the Greyhound Bus Depot where I caught the bus home to Brisbane.

FRIED EGG SANDWICHES

Should be on plain bread. Butter both pieces of bread (add a little mayonnaise if you like). Fry eggs in butter, break the yolk and turn but donÕt let it cook more than a second, some of the yolk should be runny. Put egg on bread add a dash of salt & a twist of pepper.

BACON & EGG SANDWICHES

Put butter & a small amount of Mayonnaise on each slice of bread.
For each sandwich Ñ fry 2 (or 3 depending on length of bacon) strips of bacon cut in half. When you turn the eggs put the bacon under them so they fuse.
