| MONTE CRISTOS | ||||
| I used to order Monte Cristos at Blum's Coffee shop in the Palace Hotel on Market Street. They served them with a spiced peach and a dusting of Powdered Sugar. Even though they look like sandwiches, you eat them with a knife and fork. | ||||
| 2 | Eggs | > | Make typical French Toast Dip. (I allow 1 egg per person.) | |

| 2 | drps | Vanilla | ||
| 1 | pnch | Salt | ||
| 4 | sls | Bread | > | Make Ham and Cheese Sandwiches with Mayo on inside. |
| Mayonnaise | ||||
| 2 | sls | Boiled Ham ( in. thick) (lunch meat) | ||
| 2 | sls | Monterey Jack Cheese | ||
| Dip sandwich in egg mixture then Grill on both sides until cheese is melted and sandwich is warmed through. | ||||
| Serve with Spiced Peaches or other fruit. | ||||
| Canned Pineapple or Mandarin Oranges are nice. | ||||
